New Look for MCAA

This past year at the Protection Conference a new design for our logo was chosen and will be used going forward. You will notice our new logo in this newsletter and will hopefully be seeing it show up more regularly. We will also be designing new merchandise featuring our new logo as well as other items you may start seeing so keep an eye out for it!

Conservation Agents Association Foundation

The Missouri Conservation Agents Association has established the Missouri Conservation Agents Association Foundation (MCAAF) which is an official 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Fundraising efforts and donations received through the MCAAF are used to support Conservation Agents, their families and conservation efforts in the state of Missouri and elsewhere.

MCAA Website

Did you know that the MCAA has a new website? You can visit www.moagentsassocition.org to learn more about the Missouri Conservation Agents Association and see current and past events that we have been involved with. Membership applications, scholarship applications and other information can all be found on the website. Our website was recently updated and still “under construction” but is much more user friendly and informative. The new website was created by Scott Boyd (Christine’s husband) and will be managed by Crystal Poole. Thank you both very much for all your hard work and continued efforts!

Questionnaire

  • Are you a MCAA member?

  • If so, what would you like to see the Association doing? Don’t hesitate to reach out to your regional representative or any member of the board. We want to hear from our members!

  • Would you be interested in attending an annual banquet hosted by the MCAA?

  • If you are an MCAA member, are you receiving the IGW magazine?

MCAA’s Recent Involvement

  • Sponsored two college scholarships to freshman college students attending college in Missouri. We are accepting applications now to award future MCAA scholarships to college students

  • Donated to memorials for fallen officers and fallen wildlife officers across the nation

  • Financially assisted fellow Conservation Agents during challenging times to provide support to them and their families in different situations

  • Covered costs for several agents to attend a St. Louis Blues game together

  • Hosted a hospitality room and provided drinks, snacks, raffle and door prizes during the 2025 Protection Branch Conference

  • Welcomed several new members to the MCAA

  • We were able to raise money from silent auction items donated by local companies and

  • organizations for our Conservation Agents Association Foundation

  • If you have an event in your county or region that you would like assistance with or would like custom giveaways for, please reach out to your regional MCAA representative with your ideas! We want to help support you and the work you do!

What’s New in 2026?

We are working on finishing the new website and having more updated information throughout the year for individuals to access. We are also working towards connecting the website with a vendor to be capable of ordering merchandise directly through the website. Our new website will also have pictures of different activities and events that members and agents have been involved with. Look for some familiar faces!

2026 NAWEOA Conference

The Nebraska Conservation Officers Association will be hosting the 2026 North American Wildlife Enforcement Officer’s Association (NAWEOA) in Omaha, NE. The conference is scheduled to run from July 20-24, 2026. Our association awards scholarships to MCAA members to help offset the cost of registration/attendance. If you are an MCAA member and plan to attend the 2026 NAWEOA conference, please let Mark and Sarah McNeely know so your name can be entered into the drawing for the scholarship. Please let Mark and Sarah know by March 1, 2026. The drawing will be held shortly after that date.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all Agents and their families! We wish you

nothing but the best in 2026 and are excited to see what next year holds for every one of

you!
